"If
you want perfection, keep looking..."
The 2000 election cycle is
only just beginning, and already things are out of hand. The top
Democratic and Republican presidential candidates have been in a
wild chase for money for months now, and already they’ve raised
record millions. And then there’s the question of what they
stand for. While the candidates vary on some issues, they all have
two things in common: They support policies, like NAFTA and
privatization, that help corporations and hurt workers. And they
receive substantial financial support from corporations.
On these pages are some assessments about
several of the top presidential candidates, from a Labor Party
perspective. We've put our articles about the top most-likely
contenders on separate pages ... just follow the "more"
link at the bottom of each page to read our complete overview.
